At a glance

The key points.

Your place is confirmed when we accept the booking and payment is received.

You may substitute another eligible colleague up to 24 hours before the event.

If we cancel or materially reschedule, we will offer a transfer or ticket refund.

Scope and organiser

These terms apply to ticketed events organised by Dynamic Business Leaders Limited, trading as People Strategy Hub, unless the booking page states event-specific terms.

We are registered in England and Wales under company number 12252258, with registered office at 45 Lemsford Village, Lemsford, Welwyn Garden City, England, AL8 7TR.

Our events are designed for professional attendance. If you book for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and will make these terms available to each attendee. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Booking, prices and payment

A booking is accepted when we send confirmation. Places may remain provisional until payment is received. We may release an unpaid place if an invoice is overdue.

Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged at the applicable rate. Any early-booking price, discount or promotional code applies only on the published conditions and by the stated deadline. Discounts cannot be combined unless we say they can.

Please check the attendee name, organisation, event and price in the confirmation and tell us promptly if anything is wrong.

Attendee cancellations and substitutions

Tickets are non-refundable if an attendee cancels or does not attend, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

You may substitute another eligible person from the same organisation at no charge up to 24 hours before the event. Email us with the replacement’s details. If the event or ticket has eligibility criteria, the replacement must meet them.

Tell us as early as you can

We will always consider exceptional circumstances fairly, but a credit, transfer or refund is not guaranteed unless these terms or the law require it.

Programme changes, postponement and cancellation

Events involve many contributors. We may make reasonable changes to speakers, sessions, timings, format or venue. A minor change does not give a right to a refund.

If we cancel an event, we will refund the ticket fee paid. If we change the date or make another material change, we will offer a place at the revised event or a refund of the ticket fee. We will explain the choice and response deadline when we contact you.

Our liability for cancellation or rescheduling does not include travel, accommodation, time away from work or other costs. We recommend flexible bookings and suitable insurance.

Access, conduct and safety

Tell us about accessibility or dietary requirements as early as possible. We will work with you and the venue to make reasonable arrangements.

Attendees must follow reasonable instructions from the organiser and venue and behave professionally towards other attendees, speakers, partners and staff. We may refuse admission or remove someone whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive, abusive or harassing. No refund is due where removal is reasonable for one of these reasons.

You remain responsible for your belongings and for arranging appropriate travel and insurance.

Photography, recordings and event content

Our events may be photographed or filmed for event reporting and promotion. Tell us before the event or at registration if you do not wish to be readily identifiable. We will take reasonable steps to respect your request, although complete exclusion from wide crowd or room shots may not always be possible.

Speakers and contributors are responsible for their own views. Event materials are provided for general professional information and are not legal, financial or other professional advice.

Copyright in presentations, recordings and materials remains with People Strategy Hub, the speaker or the stated owner. Attendee access is for personal professional use. Do not reproduce, publish, sell or distribute materials without the relevant owner’s permission.

Content Hub access included with a ticket

Where the booking page states that a ticket includes Premium Content Hub access, the named attendee receives 12 months of Premium access from the ticket purchase date. Access is personal to that attendee and must not be shared.

If we accept a ticket substitution, we may transfer the included entitlement to the replacement attendee and end the original attendee’s ticket-linked access. Content, features and availability may change as the Hub develops. Nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights that apply.

Liability, privacy and law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from a booking or event will not exceed the ticket fee paid for the affected attendee. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of business, profit or opportunity, or travel and accommodation costs.

We use personal information as explained in our Privacy & your data notice.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.

Questions or complaints can be sent to info@dynamicbusinessleaders.co.uk.
